Martin Juma
Mr. Martin Juma is a Safeguarding and Emotional Well-Being practitioner with a commitment to strengthening safe environments for all. Martin is the Founder and Lead Consultant at Tunza Safeguarding a Kenyan based consultancy nurtures organisations and communities to establish robust safeguarding structures and measures for all.
With over 13 years of practical experience in Protection and Safeguarding, Mr. Juma has worked with renowned National and International Organizations such as the Moving the Goal Post, Akili Dada, Lutheran World Federation, Save the Children, UNICEF, World Vision, Oxfam, and The Girl Generation across diverse contexts and countries, including South Sudan, Djibouti, Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Zambia, and Ethiopia. He holds a BA in social work and psychology from Daystar University and is currently completing his master’s degree in counselling psychology from USIU.
Sports Achievements
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Martin Juma has an impressive history of excellence in sports. He began his sporting career in primary school, where he excelled in basketball, swimming, and athletics. In high school he served as the captain of the rugby team and the school’s Games Captain. His talent and dedication earned him a spot representing Kenya in Rugby at the Under 19 level.
Mr. Juma continued to demonstrate his passion for sports in his university years. He played for the prestigious Impala Rugby 1st and 2nd Teams, establishing himself as an asset on the field. He also captained and coached his Daystar University Rugby team, showcasing his exceptional leadership abilities and fostering the growth of his teammates.
Mr. Martin Juma is a highly accomplished individual with a proven track record of success in both his professional and personal life. He is a dedicated and passionate advocate for the safety and well-being for all and he is a role model for young people everywhere.
Lynette Kigotho
Lynette Wambui Kigotho is a Child Protection/Safeguarding and Disability Inclusion specialist with over 8 years of practical working experience. She is a Senior Associate Consultant and co- founder of Tunza Safeguarding.
She has supported organizations, institutions, communities, churches, and families in developing comprehensive Child Safeguarding policies, procedures and interventions to ensure children are safer and protected against abuse. Other works include safeguarding and inclusion audits, the development of guidelines and training manuals, capacity building and training on matters safeguarding and disability inclusion .
Ivy Namdiero
Ivy Namdiero is a dynamic Communications and Safeguarding Well-being Specialist. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. With a career spanning over 10 years, she has honed her expertise in crafting compelling communication strategies while integrating her understanding of human behaviour and mental health.
Armed with her communication skills and a deep-rooted interest in human behaviour, Ivy has built a versatile skill set and ability to empathize with clients, allowing her to establish meaningful connections and develop tailored communication plans that truly resonate with her clients’ needs.
Ivy’s profound interest in counselling psychology exemplifies the power of integrating diverse fields to bring about meaningful change. Her innovative approach and unwavering dedication to promoting mental health through communication inspire professionals across various industries.

An accomplished Social Development and Safeguarding Practitioner with a deep-rooted passion for creating positive change within communities. With a robust academic foundation in Social Work (Dip), Development Studies (BA) and Project Planning & Management (MSc), Anne blends her knowledge with hands-on experience to drive impactful projects. Her diverse professional journey includes successful roles in project coordination, research, resource mobilization and strategic planning.
